This magazine-style report was the flagship document for a new initiative developed in partnership between two Queensland Government entities – @healthandwellbeingqld and the @qld_mhc. To ensure the inclusive and relatable messaging was conveyed effectively, content was reshaped and refined through an intensive draft review process, with the design evolving from illustrations to relatable, Queensland-centric photography. Both entity brands were applied cohesively through the application of colour and graphic elements, resulting in a seamless look and feel throughout the sections and case studies. A perfect balance!

The 2025 Salt Calendar is a collection of intriguing illustrations based on the elements of design — colour, shape, balance, harmony and pattern. From the delicate detail of a dragonfly, to the intricate symmetry of a beetle’s body — exquisite design is everywhere! 🎨 🤩 💛

Our design challenge was to create a user-friendly

Our design challenge was to create a user-friendly guide to cancer screening suitable for a diverse audience. We incorporated an approachable and engaging illustration style to harmonise with the existing colour schemes and graphic devices of the three brands outlined in the guide.
Working closely with our client to refine content and shape the document structure, we introduced bold bright colour coding to each section to enhance visual recognition of each screening service. A suite of diagrams and icons were created to support information, making for a fresh and appealing read for all!
